13.3 Configuring workflow options
Some workflow options can be set in the web module configuration pages,
as well as in the
Workflow configuration menu page.
Authorizers can be required to enter a reason for approving, or
rejecting a request. If this feature is enabled,
ID-Synch returns an error if a reason is not entered:
- From the Web Modules configuration menu, click
Review requests.
- Enable the following variables as required:
- IDP REQUIRES REASON APPROVAL
- IDP REQUIRES REASON REJECTION
- Click Update.
When the ID approval module (nph-idi.exe) is used, ID approvers can be required to enter a reason for
approving and/or rejecting a request:
- From the Web Modules configuration menu, click
Profile ID approval.
- Enable the following variables as required:
- IDI REQUIRES REASON APPROVAL
- IDI REQUIRES REASON REJECTION
- Click Update.
Requesters and recipients can be required to enter a reason for deleting
their request:
- From the Web Modules configuration menu, click
Request tracking.
- Enable the REQUIRES REASON DELETION
variable.
- Click Update.
