11.4 Setting the number of allowed password failures

To prevent security violations, you can disable an account from using ID-Synch's user modules after a pre-defined number of password authentication failures.

  1. Select Options from the Security management menu.
  2. In the MAX USERAUTH FAILURE, click the On toggle switch and type the desired number of failures in the adjacent field.
  3. Click Update at the bottom of the form.
