In ID-Synch there are 2 classes of users:
End users (users), are owners of a Profile ID, with accounts on a target system. These users are automatically added to the ID-Synch database during the nightly update process (see HERE).
End users can log into the following modules in ID-Synch:
Console users, do not have to be real users. That is, they do not need to be end users with accounts on target systems. Console users have a special purpose account in ID-Synch, that allows them to manage users and access web modules depending on their configured ACLs (rights). For example, the superuser created during setup is a console-user with full administrative rights in ID-Synch.
