8.1 Searching in ID-Synch

When you choose actions that require you to select an item to modify, ID-Synch will present a search page if the total number of items exceeds a configurable threshold.

For example, when you click on Request attributes from the Attributes menu page, ID-Synch displays the Select an attribute page if there are less than 10 in total. When there are more than 10 attributes, ID-Synch displays a search page like the one below:

793

You can:

If your search yields more than one result, you then see the Select an attribute page with items that match your criteria.

802

If the search yields only one result, you see the information page for that item.

8.1.1 Modifying the find threshold

The find threshold determines the maximum number of items that ID-Synch lists without requiring users to enter search criteria. You can modify the threshold in the Web module options configuration page. See HERE for more information.
